Minis 2020 | Sparks Gallery

Every year the Sparks Gallery has a mini show that celebrates the small but mighty artworks in a variety of mediums — all under 12″ long. Contemporary Still Life | Sparks Gallery

The traditional Still Life has held such a revered place in art history, and in this show artists were invited to interpret what a still life means to them. Denise’s 9″w x 27″h artwork, Nature’s Design, has been accepted to be part of this group show. There will be lots of twists to this theme so expect this show to be diverse! 45th Annual Small Image Show | Gallery 21 @ Spanish Village Art Center in Balboa Park
San Diego, CA

Denise’s In God’s Country was chosen to be part of the annual Small Image Show at Gallery 21 at the Spanish Village Art Center. This show celebrates works that are 10 inches or smaller. This chosen work is a 10″x10″ photo composite and is part of Denise’s Alternate Treeality™ series. Over 120 works in total will be at this exhibition and has always been the best show of the year at this gallery. You are invited to attend the Art Reception to be held on Saturday, December 1, 2020 from 4:30–7pm.

Art in the Park Fundraiser 2019 | Mission Trails Regional Park
San Diego, CA

Fundraiser to benefit this open space 5,800-acre preserve right in the city of San Diego. The Mission Trails Regional Park Foundation will receive 50% of the proceeds of art sales. Local artists featured at this fundraiser include Denise Strahm, Julianne Ricksecker, Blake Shaw, Vanessa Rusczyk, Gerry Tietje, Gail Ackley, Margaret Larlham, Kenda Francis and Susan Weinberg-Harter. You are invited to attend the Art Reception to be held on Sunday, December 8, 2019 from 2–4pm.
